Switched On in Port Augusta - Saturday 31st July

Another Switched On is comming up soon, and this time we're hosting it!

It starts at 7:30pm, with supper from 9:30 and head home by 10pm.

Please send us your favourite praise/worship song(s) by SMS to 0488 406 398 - we would like to consider playing them on the night. Also, if you would like to help (with preparation, as a musician, etc.) then we want to know. Please tell us soon as we will have much of the planning done by mid-July, and need to practice the music.

Program Design Competition

Sarah has done a great job in the past with the designs for the Eveready Events Program, but she thinks you guys can do even better! So, we're opening it up to you guys to design the Term 3 Events Program. The most interesting/appealing/cool design will be chosen, put here on the website, pinned up in the youth room and given out to everybody.

Submitting Your Design

Submissions are due by Sunday 18th July.

Please send to info@eveready.unitingchurch.org.au or contact Samuel Jaeschke (see last Events Program for phone number). To get a rough idea of possible layouts check out the Events Program from previous terms, but don't limit your ideas to these. You may submit several designs if you choose.

Please submit as one of the following formats/file-types: (in order of preference)

• .svg - Scribus, Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, many others
• .eps - Scribus, Inkscape, Adobe Illustrator, CorelDRAW, many others
• .pub - Microsoft Publisher; .doc or .docx - Microsoft Word'
• .pdf - Many programs (vectors please)

Hint: Use "Save as" and change the "File-type" option.
If you're stuck for programs, Scribus and Inkscape are both free.

If you don't know what all this means, just make sure you use one of the programs listed above, and ask Samuel if you need any help.

The program must include the following text and event details:

• Eveready youth group is for High School youth from grades 8 to 12.
  All youth must have a signed consent form to attend.
  Forms can be downloaded from the Eveready website.
